About
I'm Jeff Rodriguez. For 25 years I've built software at startups and established companies, and my work still runs behind many of the websites you visit today. My specialty has always been the same: finding where an organization's work is slow, fragile, or invisible, and building the internal tools that fix it. I've also designed, built, and sold hardware products of my own. I live and farm in Jasper County, outside Beaumont, Texas, the original boomtown.
This field moves fast. New models and tools ship every few weeks, and most of what was true a year ago has changed. I follow it daily and test new tools hands-on, so you hear what actually works, not what last month's headlines promised.
I'm not commissioned by AI vendors. You are my customer, and my job is to tell you what's real, including when the answer is "not yet" or "not for this."
